Jo Osborne was born and raised in San Diego. She has been working in the veterinary field for 39 years. She started out as a receptionist, but soon became an office manager, moving on to hospital administrator. She is currently the Executive Director of MAH- Vista. She has a passion for client education, client service, and animal health.
Jo has been married to her high school sweetheart for 38 years and is the proud parent of two grown sons. Included in the family are four rescue pets (Kitties, Truly and Hyde, and two Staff Terriers, Polly and Thor). Everyone gets along very well but the cats definitely rule the household!
In Jo’s spare time, she enjoys going to amusement parks, going to the beach, and spending time around the pool with her family.
I was born and raised in Southern California and love the outdoors. Working with animals is my passion. I started out as a kennel aide and worked my way up to Registered Veterinary Technician. I have a one-eyed cat named Toulouse and 2 dogs named Carson and Anza.
I love veterinary medicine, everything from vaccines to surgery. I want to learn something new every day and bring cutting edge knowledge to my team.

Seeing very sick animals recover and thrive makes my day’s work worth it. Snuggly puppies and kittens don’t hurt either!
I want to meet all of the fur babies! My days are made so much better with each tail wag or slobbery kiss. I love this field and am lucky to be here.
