The fourth Helping Paws Military Appreciation Day at the Crosby National Golf Club will be held October 15, 2018. The event includes 18 holes of golf, a boxed lunch, Silent Auction, and an awards dinner / presentation. In addition a Live Auction will give our guests the opportunity to bid on items such as get-away experiences, food, and travel – with all proceeds going to this most noble cause!
Helping Paws is a 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization founded by Dr. Craig Mohnacky providing veterinary care for military families in need; including routine and more complex medical and surgical procedures. The program is open to all active, retired and disabled veterans of war, who possess family pets or service dogs. Dr. Mohnacky’s commitment to Helping Paws has earned him the San Diego Military Advisory Council Service Award, Channel 10 News Leaderships Award, Henry Schein “Cares” Award, and the LEAD 10 San Diego Visionary Award for dedicated service to the San Diego military community.
Helping Paws Foundation relies on Sponsors and Volunteers for this event! Last year our Helping Paws Patriots included Sound Vet Technologies, Allydvm, Doctor Multimedia, Abaxis, Elanco, Henry Schein, Merck Animal Health, Virbac, San Diego Patriots, Vanguard, members of the Crosby National Golf Club and more!
All those interested in sponsorships / volunteering are invited to contact Hannah Mullins, Executive Director of Helping Paws.
